FilmTec™ TW30-4040 Elements are the industry standard for reliable operation and production of the highest quality water in commercial applications. This element features the thickest feed spacer (34 mil) available in the industry today to lessen the impact of fouling. FilmTec™ TW30-4040 elements are tape-wrapped—built with the same high quality membranes and materials of construction as industrial elements, except for the hard outershell, and are more economical for commercial systems with one or two elements per housing.

FilmTec™ Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis 4" Elements can separate salts from water and are produced with an automated fabrication process that ensures precision, consistency, and reliability. They are ideal for use in medium-sized water treatment system that produce less than approximately 10 gpm (2300 L/h) of permeate. Our RO membranes build on a tradition of leadership in the thin-film composite membrane industry and meet the challenges of higher rejection in lower-pressure operations.

a. Maximum temperature for continuous operation above pH 10 is 95°F (35°C).

b. Refer to Cleaning Guidelines in specification sheet 609-23010.
c. Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty, it is recommended that residual free chlorine be removed by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure. Please refer to technical bulletin 609-22010 for more information
