CARBON CARTRIDGES
Carbon filtration is an inexpensive and effective way to remove chemicals and contaminants commonly found in tap water. Aries FilterWorks carbon cartridges are an ideal choice for taste and odor control, chlorine removal, and organic reduction.

California Prop 65 compliance ensures each lot of media complies with EPA recommended levels of contaminants, including arsenic.

About Carbon
Activated carbon has remarkable absorptive properties, which makes it effective in removing chlorine, sediment and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). The Carbon particles have a large surface area, allowing a small amount of carbon to efficiently filter large volumes of water. As water passes through the carbon filter many chemicals and contaminants in the water are bonded at a molecular level to the carbon, effectively removing them from the water. A large percentage of chemical compounds and organic contaminants, that cause taste and odor problems are removed by carbon


ResinTech AGC-40 is a bituminous coal based, premium grade, granular activated carbon with a size range of 12 to 40 mesh. AGC-40 has large pores and high capacity for large organic molecules. AGC-40 is intended for all general purpose applications where high adsorption efficiency is desired.

ResinTech AGC-50 is a bituminous coal based, premium grade, granular activated carbon with a size range of 20 to 50 mesh. AGC-50 has large pores and high capacity for large organic molecules. AGC-50 is intended for applications where the highest possible surface area and adsorption rates are needed.
