Description Spec Sheet / Manual Technical Specifications

Filmtec™ SW30XHR-440i

(Suggested alternatives: Hydranautics SWC4B MAX, Hydranautics SWC4 MAX, Toray TM820M-440)

FilmTec™ SW30XHR-440i Elements are the highest rejection seawater RO element in the FilmTec element portfolio, enabling stringent water quality requirements to be met reliably with single-pass seawater systems in most situations. In addition, the combination of high active area and thick feed spacer results in higher productivity and lower cleaning frequency, which enable sustainable lower lifecycle cost. iLEC™ Interlocking End Caps reduce system operating costs and the risk of o-ring leaks that can cause poor water quality.

FilmTec™ Seawater Reverse Osmosis 8" Elements can separate salts from water and are designed to reduce capital and operational costs of large desalination systems that produce greater than approximately 10 gpm (2300 L/h) of permeate. With a wide range of membranes available to meet various system design requirements, our RO products combine excellent membrane quality with automated precision fabrication, taking system performance to unprecedented levels.

b. Refer to Cleaning Guidelines in specification sheet 609-23010.

c. Under certain conditions, the presence of free chlorine and other oxidizing agents will cause premature membrane failure. Since oxidation damage is not covered under warranty. FilmTec Corporation recommends removing residual free chlorine by pretreatment prior to membrane exposure. Please refer to technical bulletin 609-22010 for more information.
