Energy Recovery Inc. (ERI) Pressure Exchanger (PX) units for seawater reverse osmosis systems. PX devices are isobaric energy recovery devices that transfer hydraulic pressure from the high-pressure concentrate stream to the feed water, recovering up to 98% of the energy that would otherwise be wasted, dramatically reducing the energy cost of seawater desalination.
