For a detailed selection including specific energy consumption, lubrication flow and motor torque, download the official Danfoss selection workbook (Excel). Tell us who you are and we will send you the link and follow up with any help you need.

Please contact ForeverPure to confirm any selection before you order. This is an independent first-pass estimator built by ForeverPure from published Danfoss datasheet values. Results are indicative only and are provided without warranty — no purchasing decision should rest on them alone.

Method and assumptions. Feed flow = permeate ÷ recovery; brine flow = feed − permeate. With energy recovery the APP pump is sized for permeate flow and the iSave handles brine flow; without it the pump carries full feed flow. Pump flow = published geometric displacement × shaft speed, de-rated 6% for volumetric efficiency. Shaft power = flow × pressure ÷ 36, divided by an assumed 90% pump and 93% motor efficiency; the ERD circulation booster is estimated at 3 bar differential and 75% efficiency. Specific energy consumption is total absorbed power ÷ permeate flow. Actual figures vary with feed temperature, salinity, membrane type and age, fouling allowance, pipework losses, motor selection and duty cycle.
