Overview

The Procon 104A190F11BB is a positive-displacement rotary vane water pump manufactured by Procon (CEME Group). Its brass housing is built to deliver 190 GPH (719 LPH) at up to 150 PSI with consistent flow across the entire pressure range. Procon rotary vane pumps are self-priming (water), maintenance-free, and virtually silent, making them a standard component in reverse-osmosis, carbonation, beverage-dispensing, coffee, and cooling systems worldwide.

Typical Applications

Reverse Osmosis, Booster Pump, Desalination (Pre-treated Feed), Circulation, Solar, Hydraulic, Cooling, General

Key Features & Benefits

  • Positive-displacement design delivers consistent flow at variable pressures
  • Self-priming with water; maintenance-free apart from optional strainer cleaning
  • Low starting torque — compatible with standard carbonator motors
  • Quiet operation with low vibration and pulsation (≤ 60 dBA)
  • Brass housing rated for clean fluid service up to 160F and 100cP viscosity
  • Built to Procon ISO-9001 quality system in Mexico and Ireland

Installation Notes

  • Provide clean, filtered fluid on the suction side. Use a strainer if the source may contain debris.
  • Do not run the pump dry for more than 2 minutes — dry running will damage the internal vanes and mechanical seal.
  • Do not operate against a closed discharge without a relief valve.
  • Suction pressure: positive inlet pressure recommended above 2,400 RPM; minimum 20 PSI inlet is required for Series 6 at full speed.
  • Pump inlet / outlet is 1/2-inch NPT thread.
