Frequently Asked Questions
Should I choose the 200 GPD or 500 GPD watermaker?
Choose 500 GPD for larger vessels, villas, or light commercial use needing about 500 gallons per day; the 200 GPD model suits smaller boats and homes. Both use the same Danfoss APP pump and marine-grade construction.
Can the 500 GPD watermaker run off solar or a generator?
Yes. It operates on AC or DC power and is commonly paired with solar arrays or generators for off-grid and remote installations.
What is involved in installation?
The 500 GPD unit is a compact, near-turnkey skid. It needs a seawater feed, power, and a brine discharge line; most installations are completed in about a day.
