Industrial Wastewater Pumps
Danfoss Industrial Wastewater Pumps – PAH High-Pressure Axial Piston
Danfoss PAH pumps are engineered for high-pressure industrial duty: reverse osmosis booster service, zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) pre-treatment, industrial wastewater recovery, and mining process water. Built from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with self-lubricated ceramic piston technology, the PAH series delivers pressures up to 140 bar (2,030 psi) with flows from 0.5 to 100 m³/h.
PAH series overview
- PAH 2–12.5 – small-to-mid-duty industrial RO, 0.5–12.5 m³/h, up to 80 bar.
- PAH 20–32 – mid-capacity industrial applications, up to 140 bar.
- PAH 50–100 – heavy-duty wastewater and high-flow RO, up to 80 bar.
- PAHT – technical liquids and process fluids, chemical-resistant variants.
Applications
Paper & pulp process water, food & beverage wastewater recovery, mining tailings RO, oil & gas produced-water treatment, ZLD brine concentration, landfill leachate treatment, and industrial cooling-tower blowdown recovery.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Danfoss APP and PAH pumps?
APP pumps are seawater-service optimized (Super Duplex stainless, flow-through design) for SWRO desalination. PAH pumps are built for industrial fluids, fresh water, and low-chloride wastewater – they use standard stainless steel and handle higher pressures with longer service intervals.
Do PAH pumps need lubrication?
No – PAH pumps use the pumped fluid itself for internal lubrication of the ceramic pistons. No separate oil or grease lubrication system is required.
What flow and pressure can a PAH pump deliver?
The PAH series covers 0.5 m³/h (2.2 gpm) to 100 m³/h (440 gpm) with working pressures up to 140 bar (2,030 psi). See each product page for the exact duty curve.
