Yes — the OCEAN Pro system charges from the grid and provides backup on its own; solar extends autonomy through long outages.
Can it be installed outside?
Yes. IP67-rated battery enclosure and NEMA 3R system rating allow outdoor mounting, and the Aerogel insulation keeps cells stable from −4°F to 140°F.
How does battery count affect motor starting?
More batteries raise available surge amperage: one battery provides about 95A, two about 190A, and three or more reach the system's full 205A LRA — enough to direct-start a 5-ton A/C.
