Overview
The Piedmont grooved pipe Style F Coupling, 16.0 inch, 450 psi, Duplex Stainless Steel is a Piedmont flexible pipe coupling engineered for the demanding corrosion environment of reverse osmosis, desalination and industrial water treatment. The housing is manufactured from Duplex Stainless Steel (CE8MN 2205) / Super Duplex (CE3MN 2507), providing the strength, ferritic balance and chloride-pitting resistance required for sea-water and brackish-water service.
Typical Applications
Lower-pressure stages of SWRO/BWRO systems and corrosion-resistant water-treatment piping.
Key Features
- Working pressure rated at 450 psi (31 bar) per ASTM F1476.
- EPDM gasket, NSF/ANSI 61 approved for drinking water; choice of C-shape (allows expansion/contraction) or flush-fit (zero linear movement).
- 316 Stainless Steel round-head square-neck bolts (ASME B18.5) and 316 SS heavy-hex nuts.
- Ferritic inspection on every Duplex/Super Duplex casting per Piedmont QA program.
- Compatible with both cut-grooved and roll-grooved pipe per AWWA standards.
