The Danfoss iSave 50 Energy Recovery Device with 30 HP NEMA motor (vertical) (180U0062) is an isobaric Energy Recovery Device for seawater reverse osmosis. It combines an isobaric pressure exchanger, a vane-type high-pressure booster pump and a NEMA electric motor on a single shaft in one compact unit — recovering the pressure energy in the membrane brine stream and cutting SWRO energy consumption by up to 60%. All wetted parts are highly corrosion-resistant (Super Duplex / Duplex stainless), the unit is lubricated by the pumped seawater itself, and flow is proportional to speed for simple VFD control without high-pressure flow meters.
