Frequently Asked Questions: Eco PRO-440i — Low-Energy High-Rejection with iLEC

Is the Eco PRO-440i a replacement for an older element?

No — the Eco series launched under the “ECO PRO” name from the start; there is no discontinued non-PRO predecessor. The 440i is the iLEC-endcap version of the Eco PRO-440.

What makes the Eco PRO-440i special?

It delivers 12,650 GPD with 99.7% stabilized / 99.4% minimum rejection at only 150 psi test pressure (2,000 ppm NaCl) — high output at low pressure for significant pump-energy savings, plus excellent silica, boron, nitrate, TOC and ammonium rejection.

What does the “i” mean?

The “i” denotes iLEC™ interlocking end caps: elements lock directly to each other instead of relying on individual couplers and extra O-rings, which reduces O-ring leak points and permeate bypass, and makes vessel loading easier.

Is it a drop-in 8-inch element?

Yes — standard 8″ × 40″ element (1.125″ permeate tube), fits any standard 8-inch pressure vessel, 600 psig maximum operating pressure. No system modifications required.
